Thank you for visiting Chayo Ceramics

This is a wheel thrown porcelain pot ,I burnished it then bisqued it. I impressed plant matter on to the surface of the pot and wrapped it with wet clay then I placed the pot in a saggar filled with dried flowers, sprinkled it with salt and placed it in a Barrel firing. It is in the collection of Nanette and Joe Niski.
